To2 – Part 7 – 4 ĐA – Buổi 11 – Bài 3

This Week on “Book Talk”

Tune in on Wednesday, February 7, at 1:00 P.M., for Book Talk, KNAE-FMs weekly radio show celebrating books and authors. On this week’s program, Book Talk host Pablo Araya talks with Anne Kindall about her latest novel, Feliz Blue.

While traveling in Brazil, Ms. Kindall was inspired to create and research a scory about musicians vacationing there who find themselves drawn to the various styles of Brazilian music. They soon begin to help one of the characters, a young artist, record his debut album. You will hear some of Ms. Kindall’s recordings of Brazilian music and learn about her long-standing fascination with South American culture, which started when she was an exchange student in Peru.

Listen to KNAE-FM’s Book Talk every Wednesday at 1:00 P.M.

Upcoming call-in show

Dear Anne.

Judging from the e-mail response, our recent interview on Book Talk generated a lot of interest from listeners. I expect we vvill have plenty of people phoning in and texting questions vvhen you are here for our first ever live Book Talk shovv on March 14. Please be at the radio station at noon so we have time to set up for the broadcast, which, as always, will be transmitted over the air and simultaneously streamed on our Web site.

By the way, I saw that Feliz Blue received a glowing review in Publishers Magazine.

Congratulations! I hope it stays on the best-seller list even longer than your fifst novel did.

Yours,

Pablo
