Test 7 – Part 7 – 178

Questions 178 – 180 refer to the following information.

In a subway station, if you have already had a rechargeable prepaid transportation card and its balance is enough for the payment of your fare, just move it close to the sensor of the machine in the gate, check in, and board a subway train. You do not need to buy a ticket. But if you don’t have any available prepaid transportation card, you need to purchase tickets from the vending machines on the subway station premises. Each ticket bought from ticket machines are pre-validated with time and date. In this system, your ticket purchased from the vending machine in the station can be used for subway trains only, but if you use your transportation card, you can transfer between the subway and any city bus to reach your destination within the city without additional payment. If you try to purchase a book of ten tickets, you must verify each ticket individually on the machines before getting on the subway.
