SIZZLING SUMMER – TOWN EVENT By BJ The old town of Clover Ville, Texas, is having its 14th annual BBQ cook out from Saturday 11AM to Sunday 2AM. This annual event will be even bigger this year, with challengers from all over the country to win the crown of the BBQ king. Last year’s winner, Louisiana’s Buck Wild will try to defend his place as champion from challengers from Florida, Mississippi, Alabama and other places. The town will have an announcement from the mayor of Clover Ville at 12PM on the first day, and we will begin to eat right away. There will be macaroni and cheese, combread, chicken wings, ribs, and links for everyone cooked by the best of the best, including Buck Wild. Admission and Parking are free, and Cypress Hill St. that leads to the church will be closed for 2 full days during the event.
