Test 2 – Part 7 – 174

Questions 174-177 refer to the following notice.

To fulfill our promise to the children who are eager to read, the library would like to extend its summer reading program to all areas. The purpose is to provide them with more opportunity to broaden their knowledge. In the previous year, young readers read more than 80,000 books during the program. This year, children can enjoy more. They can watch supernatural shows, hand-puppet, and more creative skills. Be a part of this summer program and READ! Activities include library tour, use of library facilities, or timed blocks of reading. After every five activities done, children receive rewards.

We are proud to inform you that at our library, every second library card we give out is to a kid, and thirty percent of all blocks which are checked out are kid’s books. We greatly acknowledge the importance of providing support to read all through this summer. Statistics show that children who read a wide variety of books in summer have less difficulty in their reading skills at the start of school year. Reading is still referred to as the strongest sign of success in the job market.
