Crest Bookstore has purchased the retail space next to the store’s original premises at 112 Lark Street in Westford. The popular downtown fixture will use the new space in a much-needed expansion project.
“We opened our doors three years ago and hit the ground running,” says Ana Li, founder and co- owner. “We were told that independent bookstores are no longer as successful as they used to be. — [1】 一.”
According to Li, the revamped Crest Bookstore will be more than double the size of the original.
“The grand reopening will take place on October 12,” says Li. “- [2]-“. We’re very excited about the additional space. It means we will now be able to host more events like author appearances, book signings, and meetings of our ever-popular Crest Book Club.”
