Spotlight on Real-World Business
September 15—Since retired marketing executive Warren Cralley began teaching at Ormandy Technical Institute a few years ago, he has invited guest speakers who are engaged in real-world business activities to address his classes. The speakers share their experiences with the students enrolled in introductory marketing and economics courses at Ormandy Tech.

Dear Mr. Cralley,
I am mentoring Elizabeth Li during her internship here at Sharondale Textiles. She asked if I would be willing to speak with your students. When I said I would be pleased to do so, she suggested that I contact you for more specific information.
If you think it would be of interest to your class, I could speak about how a small local business remains profitable in an industry that is increasingly dominated by large-scale corporations and global competition.
I will be away at a conference from October 16 to 23, but my schedule is flexible in early November. If you would like to contact me to discuss details, I can be reached at 470-555-0129 during normal business hours.
I look forward to talking with you.
