Attached, please find a copy of the company’s mid-year spending report for overhead expenses, which I received yesterday. The report was prepared by Green & Associates, an outside accounting firm that regularly audits our finances.

While the company’s overall spending for the six-month period was within our budget, the sharp increase in the amount spent on office equipment is a concern. I would like to schedule a meeting to discuss the company’s current equipment needs in order to determine whether we can use our resources more efficiently. Please let me know if you can meet on Friday afternoon, July 23. The meeting should take no more than a couple of hours.
